Originally a private home, the Depot Hotel has played an active role in Sonoma’s past as a restaurant and hotel. It is currently located in a historic plumstone building near the Plaza in downtown Sonoma.

Enter through the Fireplace Parlor, comfortably furnished with overstuffed chairs and couches. The soft rose walls, luxurious burgundy upholstery and an Italian tapestry give the feel of an Italian country inn. Glass doors lead out onto a covered terrace encircling the formal garden. The garden is serene and secluded, landscaped with flowers, hedges and a large reflecting pool. A comfortable dining area decorated with antique Italian china is enlarged by a glass-enclosed garden room. Here you can have the benefits of indoor dining while feeling that you’re outdoors.
